I have been active in Hillel throughout my time at CU and I feel that it helps me to celebrate my Judaism in a unique way that wouldn’t be possible otherwise.
Ever since I became a bat mitzvah on the top of Masada, I have wanted to return to Israel. While I was there on Birthright, I gained an even deeper connection with my Jewish identity that I can celebrate every week with my friends at Hillel. I have had a longstanding desire to make Aliyah and spend the rest of my life living in Israel. Thanks to Birthright and Hillel, I now know that is the right path for me.
