CSU Hillel Campus Director: Career Opportunity
Hillel of Colorado, a multi-campus Hillel, seeks a full-time Campus Director (CD) for its Colorado State University (CSU) campus in Ft. Collins, CO. As CD you will oversee all CSU Hillel activities for a diverse and pluralistic population of 500+ Jewish undergraduate students and their allies. You will strengthen students’ connection to Jewish life and provide a warm, welcoming home-away-from-home for students during these important years.
Under your leadership and oversight this student-run, staff-supported Hillel will continue striving toward the excellence build by a half-century of previous staff and student leaders. Along with Hillel of Colorado’s assistant director – who will serve as your supervisor, thought-partner, and co-strategist – and you will be an integral part of a small, highly collaborative Hillel staff team headquartered at the Merage & Allon Hillel Center in Denver.

What you have Accomplished
- You have at least a bachelor’s degree. We will consider a range of candidates’ experiences and credentials.
- You have 3-5 years professional experience.
- It is a big plus if you have worked successfully with teenagers and/or college-age students; in a nonprofit or mission-driven organization; in a Jewish summer camp or a Hillel.
- You have created and implemented work plans and can manage a program budget.
- You have proficiency in MS Suite and social media.

What you will Do
- Assure the smooth running of the Merage Hillel House, Hillel’s facility, including all vendor responsibilities.
- Represent Hillel of Colorado’s values within the broader community and on campus, cultivating diverse and pluralistic Jewish life on campus.
- Strengthen CSU Hillel’s ties and partnerships with the university, university staff and administrators, student organizations, Greek Life, and Chabad.
- Organize traditional programming including weekly Shabbat meals/programs, holiday events and Passover Seders, and social programs throughout the year.
- Develop and run additional programming in areas such as Israel, mental health, and social justice.
- Build Hillel’s leadership programs – including hiring and supervising campus interns and student board members – to assure leadership development opportunities are woven into the fabric of CSU Hillel.
- Focus on student recruitment and engagement to ensure we meet our goals, and measure engagement using Hillel’s metrics tools.
- Recruit for – and perhaps accompany or lead – Hillel of Colorado’s Birthright Israel trips in December and June, and plan education and advocacy programs upon return.
- Help develop CSU Hillel’s financial resources – with special emphasis on students and their parents; alumni and their families; sponsorships and program grants.
- Build positive relationships with the Ft. Collins Jewish community and its members for the purpose of advocacy and fundraising; build a CSU advisory board to assist with Hillel’s success.

Salary Range
Varies upon relevant experience $40,000 – $60,000+
