    What We Do

At DU Hillel's home-away-from-home, we offer our students lots of ways to explore their Jewish identities. From Shabbat dinners, holiday celebrations, fun social programs, leadership development, and Jewish learning opportunities, Hillel is at the forefront of cultivating the next generation of Jewish Joy! Join us every Friday night at the Merage & Allon DU Hillel Center for a musical Kabbalat Shabbat service followed by a delicious dinner and community experience. Stop by our Bagel Table on the bridge every Wednesday to grab a bite, say hi, and connect with friends. Here at Hillel, we are so lucky to have our amazing students take the lead in planning and implementing all of our programs.

    Learning Opportunities

It is for good reason that the Jewish people are called the "People of the Book." Learning is a core value in Judaism, so at DU Hillel, we offer a class each quarter that takes Jewish learning and makes it fun! In the spring, apply for our Kol Yisrael class, which will explore different facets of Israel through the lens of culture. Through engaging discussions, interactive activities, and real-world case studies, you'll dive into Israeli music, food, art, and societal dynamics, gaining a deeper understanding of Israel's diverse and complex identity. Stay tuned for application details, and don't miss out on this opportunity to learn, connect, and explore!
