Hillel gives me the opportunity to see many expressions of Judaism, from culturally connected to modern Orthodox. Understanding this diversity in my own people has helped me relate to the broader diversity on campus.

Being involved at Hillel has helped me explore how to apply 21st century ideas to ancient Judaic morals and bring my understanding to leadership roles, both within Hillel and on campus. 

Hillel welcomed me with open arms. I knew right away that I had found my home away from home. Praying shoulder to shoulder at holiday celebrations and Shabbat gatherings with what would become some of my closest friends has made me feel more rooted in my Jewish identity and inspired me to continue growing and learning as a Jew.
