Jewish Soul Food Shabbat

This past week was Holocaust Awareness week at CSU.  We had a week filled with learning about the past through literature, film and hearing a survivor speak first hand, and we remembered those who perished. For Shabbat this week, we will be ending with Jewish Soul Food. We don’t mourn on Shabbat, so we will be ending on a positive note and feed our souls with delicious, traditional Jewish food.

For dinner we will be having brisket with potatoes, latkes, and vegetables on the side.  Of course we will be having matzo ball soup, because it’s Jewish Soul Food night, duh. Join us at 6:30p.m. for services and dinner will be served at 7p.m.  Bring a friend and enjoy a nice home-made meal! Don’t forget to RSVP on Facebook if you will be attending.
